Offering the widest product range in the line of length and production measuring technique with more than 9000 products, Mitutoyo is the most important full-line supplier internationally.

In development, production and sales the company is operating in more than 100 countries all over the world. The origin of Mitutoyo’s global activities is the headquarter in Kawasaki in Japan. In Japan alone, Mitutoyo operates 10 production sites, two development facilities, two metrology institutes, five calibration laboratories, seven service centers and seven M³ Solution Centers in addition to the headquarter and its national branch offices. 

At present, the Mitutoyo-Group, based on its Japanese roots, is operating in almost 40 countries world-wide, maintaining more than 80 branch offices and national distributor networks, 65 M³ Solution Centers, 17 production sites, six research and development laboratories, 12 metrological institutes and 20 calibration laboratories. Additionally, there are Mitutoyo representations in round about 60 more countries.
